Shopping
On arrival we will provide you with toilet paper, a kitchen roll, 3 dishwasher tablets, coffee, milk, sugar and salt. At the hotel next door you will find a small supermarket, but big purchases are better in Mercadonna (Carrer de la Falzia, 8, 07609 Llucmajor) on Badia Blava or in Campos in Lidl, Aldi, Müller.
Car parking
Please note that the parking lot on the property is very small and it is best to rent a small car. A socket for e-cars will be available for an additional charge from 2021. Please speak to us.
Rubbish
Separate the garbage a little and dispose of it daily in the containers on the street. A gray mixed waste container is 50 meters from the house on the street. Step on the lever with your foot and the lid will open.
WIFI
The house has a WIFI antenna in the living room and reaches into all rooms.
TV
We have installed 4 smart TVs in the house for you, in the living room and in all 3 bedrooms. The installed satellite antenna is set to German TV channels. You can use the remote control and the Wifi SMART TV and receive Amazon Prime or Netflix, etc. with your own access.
Music
There is a powerful SONOS MOVE loudspeaker box by the kitchen counter. It has a rechargeable battery and can be placed elsewhere on the move. Connect via Bluetooth and play your songs from your mobile phone. Or download the SONOS app and connect to it. Please note the house rules.
Pool
The pool is a heated salt water pool with natural chlorine and contains no chemicals. The light switch for the pool lighting is on the inside of the column facing the kitchen. There are 3 large parasols for shade on the terraces.
It is strictly forbidden to jump into the pool from the balcony!
Beach
The beach, which is guarded in summer, can be reached on foot: just walk through the hotel, past the pool and restaurant and then down the stairs to the beach. Attention, the port facility is very slippery in the area of the ramps! The swimming area is marked by yellow buoys in summer. Take snorkel and diving goggles with you and it is worth saying hello to the fish, octopuses, starfish, anemones and crabs, especially in the morning at 11 a.m. when the visibility is clear. Watch out for jellyfish depending on the wind direction which may be in the bay. In the case of burns, do not rub and it is best to rinse with vinegar or urine (no fresh water, otherwise it will burn even more).
Children
This house is not suitable for children under 10 years of age. We recommend that you do not rent the house with small children. Note that the house is built on a 35 meter high cliff and the 2 meter deep pool is not secured. Pointy cacti grow in the garden. Guests should supervise any baby or child when using balconies and patios. The balustrade on the banister is also not suitable for small children. For these reasons, the house does not have a cot or high chair. Guests are fully responsible for the safety of the children accompanying them throughout their stay and for any inconvenience caused to other residents in the neighborhood.
Garden
The garden is automatically watered in the evening. The garden lighting can be switched on from the inside using a switch on the front door. When someone moves around in the garden at night, the garden lighting also comes on.
Air conditioner
Each of the 3 bedrooms has air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The lower floor also has air conditioning. The air conditioning can also warm you! Sensors are installed on the windows, as soon as you open a window, the air conditioning switches off. The 4 safety switches for the air conditioning are located behind the house entrance door at the top right in the switch cabinet. You can switch them off here if you do not want to use them at all. To avoid colds, we recommend that you set the air conditioning to a minimum of 25 degrees. The dry air makes it sufficiently cool. All windows in the bedrooms have mosquito screens! There is an open fireplace in the living room, you would have to buy the wood yourself.
Water
You don't have to buy and haul drinking water! The water quality in Cala Pi is very good, but we have installed a small lever in the kitchen on the sink directly on the tap. When you press this, filtered osmosis drinking water comes from a separate line. The shower water is heated electrically (100 liter storage container).
Kitchen
A gas grill is available on the terrace. The kitchen has the following equipment: induction stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator with extra freezer door, juicer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine for filter coffee, mixer.
The fireplace in the living room must not be used for cooking!
Washer and dryer
There is a washing machine that can wash 8 kg of laundry and then dry a maximum of 5 kg if desired. Next to the washing machine is an ironing board and a metal clothes rack.
Bed sheets towels
The bed linen and towels are changed every week. There are 1 large white, 1 small bathroom towel and a blue pool towel available per person.
Cleaning
We do the final cleaning, our cleaning team comes here and cleans the Casa del Diamante for a flat rate of 200 EUR. On request and for an extra fee, we can also clean the villa during a longer stay. On your departure we ask you to put all towels in the shower and to leave the kitchen and the grill clean. Close all doors and windows and gates and give the keys back.

Alarm system
The house has an alarm system which is activated by Schrapf Alarmsysteme, but we switch this off during your stay.
Video surveillance
For your safety and for the safety of the house when it is not inhabited, we have installed 4 cameras that monitor the entrance gate, the parking lot, the lawn and the terrace by the pool and record if there is movement. The awards can only be viewed by the owner and are automatically deleted after a few days. If you would like to have the video cameras switched off, just let us know and we will deactivate them during your stay.
Beach and Bay:
The beach of Cala Pi is a natural beach that slopes gently into the water. You can walk about 100 meters into the water until you no longer feel the bottom. In the summer months it is guarded by sea rescuers.
You can reach the beach quickly on foot: just walk 100 meters up the street and then go down the steps to the beach. Attention, the port facility is very slippery in the area of the ramps! The swimming area is marked by yellow buoys in summer.
Watch out for jellyfish. Depending on the wind direction, there may be some in the bay. Do not rub burns and it is best to rinse with vinegar (not fresh water, otherwise it will get worse). In the summer months, the lifeguards use flags to indicate jellyfish.
Take your time and walk along the opposite side of the bay to the neighboring bay. You will experience unforgettable magical views as far as the Cabrera Islands.
Snorkeling:
The underwater world is unique, we recommend that you bring diving goggles with you. It's worth saying "hello" to the fish, octopuses, starfish, anemones and crabs, especially in the morning around 11 a.m. when the underwater visibility is clear. If you're lucky, you might even see rays, moray eels and seahorses.
The neighboring bay of Cala Beltran:
The bay of Cala Pi is only developed on the left bank, because the right bank is a nature reserve. A 15-minute walk (stairs at the end of the fishermen's cottages) takes you to the unspoilt neighboring bay of Cala Beltran.
With luck, a Mallorcan tortoise will crawl across your path!

The nearest boat rental/port in Sa Rapita is about 20 minutes by car from Cala Pi.

Take a speed boat from Colonia Sant Jordi to the nature reserve islands of Cabrera and dive with dolphins in the blue grotto.

Also located on Es'Trenc is Colonia Sant Jordi. Day trip boats leave from the port to visit the Blue Grotto on the sheltered islands of Cabrera.
Wonderful natural bay:
Caló des Moro, also known as Cala de Sa Comuna, is a bay in the southeast of the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca. It is located on the coast of the municipality of Santanyí southwest of the town of Cala Llombards in the direction of Cap de Ses Salines, the southern cape of Mallorca.
You can't go there directly by car. You have to park a bit away and then walk. Everything is signposted. The journey is worth it.
Romantic train ride:

You don't have to be a train fanatic to succumb to the captivating charm of this nostalgic railway: the Tren de Sóller - a historic narrow-gauge railway.
